Torpedo Therapy

What can one do with torpedo therapy, just realize this; a single torpedo can sink a ship, and so a single well-phrased intervention can change a client.

The components of the torpedo are:
(1) use of temporal language;
(2) use of reframes;
(3) implications; and
(4) congruence of delivery.

These torpedoes are designed to be skeleton keys, or class-of-solution interventions whose general nature covers many categories, and encourages an internal trance-like transderivational search. Three examples follow:

“And as you sit there, now, your inner mind can wonder as to just how much you have changed, already, looking back on how you used to be, now, and thinking, soon, being, and what have you, will you, do differently?”

“After this session is over, the work that you’ve started will have continued to be helping in what you have already done this afternoon, now, and you may be surprised, but, then again, not, now.”

“And how surprised will you be, now, thinking over what has happened, then, when you soon, now, change to what you have been and had deserved?”

Develop your torpedoes and practice them. How much of what we’ve covered about language forms appears above, and how much more can you add? Pauses, and markings, are extremely important in delivering torpedoes.
